Club music isn't really a genre by itself, I think you mean house music. Trance and house both utilize a 4/4 kickdrum, both are forms of dance music, both play at about 130 bpm (trance has a bit more leeway with how fast or slow it can be). The primary difference is that house music emphasizes a single melody line, and has strong percussion, it's made to get you up and make you dance, it brings a lot of energy. Trance is sometimes a bit faster, less heavy on the bass and drums, but more atmospheric, more polyphonic, more harmony. In many ways, it's similar to classical music. Here are some examples.
